She is also the chairperson of Dick and Betsy Devos family foundation. She has used her political efforts to advocate for the best educational setting for the American children. This is a desire that was partly initiated after witnessing how parents suffered to raise tuition fees for their children. This made Besty and her husband known as Dick to start the scholarship funding for students in Potters house. This move did not satisfy her because she could only reach a small percentage of low-income families. She decided to find another solution. She got involved in an educational choice movement that would help to direct funds to the needy students. Read her interview with Philantrophy Table.
Dick secured a position in the Board of Education Michigan in 1990. Besty served on the boards of two National charities known as Children First America and the American Educational Reform Council in the same year. They also tried to change the state constitution to allow tax credits scholarships or vouchers. They were unsuccessful. They did not give up after the failure of the constitution amendment. They later got involved in political action committee in Michigan called the Great Lakes Education. Dick runs a charter school in the flying and Aircraft School. School choice has been adopted in three states. Betsy Devos emphasizes that education should be nonpartisan. Technology has a great impact on the educational sector. More children can access school through the internet. This will greatly assist parents to make better choices for their children. Charter schools are also increasing. More low-income families will access affordable education. Homeschooling will also play a significant role in meeting education needs of the children comfortably.

The Democrat’s may have suffered a major loss in the shock victory of Donald Trump during the 2016 U.S. Presidential election campaign, but the party can take solace in the fact the major political donor George Soros has made a return to major political giving that marks a comeback not seen since 2004. George Soros seems to always be named as the major donor to Democrat and liberal causes, but he is now as much of an inspiration for other donors as he is a major financial donor, Politico reports; during the 2016 election campaign Soros provided around $25 million in funding for the Hillary Clinton camp, that was surpassed by the $31 million given to the campaign by San Francisco based billionaire Tom Steyer who viewed the arrival of Soros as a reason why he should provide major funding for the campaign.
George Soros has taken a major step forward in advancing the rights of women with his backing of the campaign of Hillary Clinton, which follows on from his consistent backing of equality based groups who are backed by his Open Society Foundations network of charitable groups that act as an umbrella for the many charitable concerns of the Hungarian born hedge fund legend. Forbes reports the advancement of women’s rights groups has been reflected in the work of George Soros who became one of the leading backers of women’s rights and equal pay advocates when he appointed Dawn McKenzie to the role of Chief Investment Officer at Soros Fund Management. In terms of the campaign of Hillary Clinton for President, George Soros has always known of the political abilities and ambitions of the former Secretary of State and has backed them at various times in her career. In the buildup to the 2016 election campaign George Soros has been reported by Politico to have spent a large amount of time discussing policy and the aims for the future of Clinton and has gone so far as to admit to aides he believes he made a major mistake in not backing Clinton in 2008 over eventual President Barrack Obama. During 2016, George Soros donated around $13 million directly to the campaign of Hillary Clinton the confidence the Holocaust survivor has in the former First Lady has been shown; understanding the political situation across the planet has allowed Soros to make informed judgments over where he invests his political donations, including the use of Super PAC’s to back the candidate of his choice. Soros gave around $7 million to the Priorities USA Super PAC and a further $5 million to other Super PAC’s that have provided support to the Clinton campaign across the course of the 2016 election cycle.

Besides being passionate about technology, Jason Hope is also an enthusiastic philanthropist for rejuvenation biotechnologies. He wants to change the world by reducing the negative effects of aging. A noble idea indeed and he showed the world he meant business by pledging a half million dollars to the SENS Foundation. A hefty sum of money that will lead to discoveries that offer cures to age related illnesses. There is charity and then there is changing the scope of youth vs age for every man, woman and child on Earth. Jason is obviously a big thinker and a man of action.
Unfortunately, nearly 1/2 of the world’s population lives on less than $2.50 a day. 22,000 children die each day due to poverty and 805 million do not have enough food to eat. On the contrary, the wealthiest 50 people in the world control a huge portion of the world economy. The world’s wealthiest countries have just 13% of the world’s population, but 45% have its purchasing power. Economic inequality is one of the main reasons why people like Jason Hope become philanthropist. He simply cannot stand to live in a world where huge disparities in the distribution of wealth are neglected. He believes that the wealth distribution should be managed in a way that creates a harmonious relationship worldwide.
One problem would be philanthropist suffer from is a lack of knowledge. They are obviously fully aware of business strategies, but need direction. Jason being actively engaged in charity with the SEN Foundation has acquired much useful knowledge and experience in philanthropy that many others lack. Woking together with SENS Foundation CEO Mike Kope he is allowing the organization to leverage a sum of money that would elevate their research to a higher level.
Of course each philanthropist gives charity in their own way, few demonstrate as much fitness, publicity and wisdom as Jason. The path toward becoming philanthropic can be a tough one without experience. Those looking for answers to make their paths easier may want to consult with Jason Hope.
We are all familiar with the emailing system. Regardless of the site that you choose, you’ll end up scrolling through texts and on occasion browsing through pdf or jpeg attachments for more information on the subject. This has been the norm for a very long time. The company Talk Fusion has changed all of that.
The impetus behind Talk Fusion is helping improve the quality of people’s lives everywhere. As the Founder and CEO of the company Bob Reina, says, “With great success comes greater responsibility.” This slogan reminiscent of Spiderman’s catchphrase is how Reina and his company tackles every obstacle that may land in their court. Ever since they opened their doors in 2007, the company has been doing just that.
Whether it’s massive donations to the tune of one million dollars to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay or the support of Indonesian orphanages, the company reflects Reina’s words. Positive change through action and proper funding seems to be the order of the day for Talk Fusion and it’s affiliated, people. Perhaps having a history in law enforcement coupled with his background in marketing is what set Reina on this path.
They declined his idea to embed 5-10 second emails into videos as a test market product outright. However, this was only the beginning for Reina and his future as CEO. Now the service offers the customer 5-10 minutes of video content embedded right into the email itself. The video communications service is now flourishing and providing a great product along with many other contributions to many communities worldwide.
This consists of their very best plan and is tailored to each and every charity involved. It is steps like these that companies can take to inspire and motivate others to follow suit. Whatever the future may hold for Talk Fusion, you can bet it will be big.

Dick DeVos is a businessman, former president of the NBA’s Orlando Magic, education and political activist, philanthropist, and you could basically say he has done it all. Besides formerly serving as leader of the family business Amway Corporation, he also was elected chair of the Michigan State Board of Education in 1990, served on the Grand Valley State University Board of Control, started up the Education Freedom Fund, and founded the Dick & Betsy Devos Foundation, a philanthropic organization that has devoted its work to improving life in the city of Grand Rapids. He sits on Grand Action, an non-profit organization tasked with rebuilding and growing the economy of downtown Grand Rapids. Currently he is CEO of an investment firm The Windquest Group.
Dick learned much about business from his father, Richard Devos who started up Amway Corporation, of America’s chief direct selling companies. Amway manufactures all kinds of products that are sold directly to clients, who in turn can sell them for a profit, and Dick DeVos learned the ins and outs of the business model. He got his bachelor’s degree from Northwood University, later on completing his doctorates at Northwood as well as Central Michigan University. He served first at Amway as head of lower divisions in the company, but was vice president of company operations in a little over 10 years. He left the Amway for a brief period to become president of the Orlando Magic, but returned as CEO, a position he held for 10 years and saw the company expand to over 50 countries overseas.
In between business operations, Dick and his wife Betsy have poured in a lot of resources to improving the state’s education. Their Education Freedom Fund aims to provide school of choice as an option to lower income families. Dick DeVos also started up the West Michigan Aviation Academy, a regular charter school that also brings education in aviation into the curriculum.
Dick DeVos and his wife Betsy are staunch GOP supporters, with Betsy formerly presiding as chair of the Michigan State Republican Party. Dick has long supported conservative organizations and causes, and in 2006 he made a bid to run in Michigan’s Gubernatorial race. He lost a close race to incumbent Jennifer Granholm, but he continued to actively fund conservative agendas in Michigan.
